for example....... Jim's image posted early... fabulous by the way... could have gone into the "photomanipulation" discussion above.....

my reasoning for this.... when a member comes to peek around the group.. the likely hood of the image being easier to find within a group is higher... on the comment wall it gets bumped down and down and further out of reach.

does that make sense ?! :)

Hi Maggie... there are a couple ways you can post within a group. You can choose to start a new discussion ( as above ) or you can add to a discussion already running. IMHO - I'd rather see images posted within discussions, than here on the comment wall... but I can't speak for the other admins. :)

In order to post an image I recommend the thumbnail method, which is the little icon right above your typing space that looks like a camera. By clicking that you can add in your image.

If this does not help, be sure to let me know and I'll try to walk you through it step by step.

Been a while since anything was posted so I thought I'd give it a go. This is a post processing of an image in my gallery. The plant is called rhodora... not famous for its looks- evolution sort of ignored it or God got a little lazy, take your pick..... but it is a northern species and common here in Newfoundland. I worked the image through poster edges, played with saturation and added a texture.

Hi Michael, or should that be miguel.
Welcome to the group, I look foreward to seeing your work, and hearing any tips you have for us. Roy
To the rest of the group, please excuse my absence recently.
I have been building a website for myself and one for our Camera Club, this has taken up more time than I anticipated.
It will be nice to look at all your great work again.
Best Regards, Roy.
