Foreword and general ideas

I saw a lot of excellent photos of various insects posted in the main area. With so many high quality photos in the Main Area with more interesting subjects, some of the D2 members may be less interested in this kind of images and may pass by too fast. So I considered forming such a group could beuseful.

In order to make it as efficient as possible, I am going to create some innitial discussions to separate our subjects based on type. Any ideea on this is highly appreciated, but please express it on the main group area as soon as possible in order to make the structure we want from the beginning.

I think we better include our images as thumbnails. If you press "option" when you upload, you can select the desired dimension (200pixels should be enough) and the thumbnail can be viewed full dimension if desired by clicking on it.

Any one interested is welcome to join ... it's free, and hopefully fun, too!

Comment by GabrielC on October 1, 2009 at 3:53am: On groups, the upload is made via the "Add a comment" screen, and the image is uploaded using the black camera icon above - you DO NOT use the normal upload screen in tge Gallery Upload page.
In the screen you obtain after clicking the small black camera, you have an "option" submenu, very simple and straightforward. Give it a try!

Please load them as thumbnails with 200pixels on the longest and with the possibility to be viewed larger (clik options on the upload screen and follow the instructions).
