A fantastic book by Norman Doidge, M.D. about how the brain can retool itself in the light of tragedy. It is called "The Brain That Changes Itself" and of course the new edition of the magazine called Photoshop User. Scott Kelby's fantastic magazine on Photoshop.

I am studying mostly Scott Kelby's training methods and some books on writing. I am translating a book called "The Tao Te Ching" into an illustrated poetic version called "IN SEARCH OF THE TAO". Looking for a Mandarin Chinese translator and calligrapher for one side of the page and all will be done with my painted photographs in an Chinese style. Miguel

Hi to all. I would like to recommend a book by Scott Kelby called The Photoshop Elements 6 book for Digital Photographers. It works with the Mac OS and Windows too. It was published in March, 2008. It's a very practical book and doesn't get much into theory but it's well worth reading.

Hello everyone I am a little embaressed because I don't really like reading too much because of lack of time but I sure do love to read here: http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm , I just got myself of membership in a local (Westmount) library and hope to find good magazines, but like Eva Cantrell I'm more the type to look at photographers and question them and asking them to show it to me on my camera. I will share a secret, I started with a book "Photography for dummy" it's very basic but interesting for a starter...

I just started reading the most recent issue of PCPhoto magazine. It's got some interesting articles about the new DSLRs that also capture HD video,
