About D2

D2 was launched due to a growing frustration with most photography networks. Among the hundreds of sites where people could go to upload photos, there was a gaping void when it came to places where REAL photographers could go to share each others passion. Even sites that posed to be a potential haven for photographers just became overrun by excessive snapshot over-posting. Tired of reading forum posts from disappointed photographers on other sites, and in an attempt to fill an obvious need... Digitally devoted was birthed! With the foundational understanding that there were some who still valued "quality over quantity", D2 was developed and launched. Our dedicated admins, who are passionate photographers themselves, constantly moderate and maintain D2's superb environment. Devoted as our admins are however, the core of the growing success of D2 is its members. Amateur and world class photographers from around the globe contribute, on an hourly basis, phenomenal photographs and help topics. We couldn't ask for a better member base! D2 is not for everybody, and that's OK! We've found that our greatest members are driven by the desire become better photographers; and to inspire others and BE inspired in return!
