You had me at "during a cool, low humidity day." lol I think I need to completely embrace my Canadian roots and move to Newfoundland! Great shot. Lovely colors. Love the all the geometric shapes and angles against the soft landscape).

Profile Information

Tell us about your history with photography.

I first became interested in photography when I bought a Minolta in 1972 to use while working as a geology student in the Newfoundland wilderness. I did some wet lab work, mainly in B&W- could not afford colour on a student's income. When digital technology arrived and software developed to match, my interest was peaked again. So now I dabble, playing around with this when my job allows.

What camera equipment do you use?

Canon 50D recently, Canon Rebel XT, a Sigma 105 macro, a Canon 75-200 mm telephoto zoom, a tripod, monopod, gorillapod, ND4 and polarizing filters, remote shutter release cable and about $400 in top of the line photography books.
